Every bar and coin that carries the Hobart Mint hallmark is manufactured in our Tasmanian workshop — from refined metal through casting or striking, finishing, assay and packaging.

Refined metal in

We work from LBMA-grade refined gold and silver, sourced through accredited refiners and verified on arrival.

Cast or struck

Cast bars are hand-poured into graphite moulds for the distinctive Hobart Mint surface. Coins and rounds are struck from custom dies.

Hallmarked & assayed

Each piece is hallmarked with weight, purity and the Hobart Mint mark, with assay performed in-house by XRF.

Packed & dispatched

Finished bullion is sealed, packed and either dispatched under insured cover Australia-wide or vaulted on site.
